Upon Waking is a Brighton, UK based band founded in 2024 by Matteo L.
a multi-instrumentalist, composer, lyricist, and vocalist. Drawing inspiration from alt-pop, cinematic soundscapes, and heartfelt songwriting, Upon Waking creates atmospheric music that blurs the line between memory, imagination, and reality. The debut EP released in 2025 introduced three tracks, Faded, Portslade and Midnight Detour, marking the beginning of a journey shaped by emotion, melody and storytelling.
